• Video coverage of the pool: 100% of the pool
• Computer-aided monitoring: deep-end pool zones

The Poseidon System became operational at the Nauticaa Aquatic Park in February 2000. The global-view cameras were installed during scheduled renovation work being performed at the pool. With 1 million visitors each year, Nauticaa is the most highly frequented aquatic park in France and swimmer safety heads its list of preoccupations. A highly-publicized inauguration ceremony covered by all the media was held when the system was launched.
