In the new swimming pool in Partille, the advanced drowning prevention system Poseidon will be installed to increase the safety of swimmers. Poseidon is an innovative system designed to quickly detect and alert potential drowning incidentsusing the full potential of Artificial Intelligence and based on more than 20 years of continuous investment in Research & Development. The system is already in operation in many swimming pools in more than 15 countries and has proven to be an effective tool to save lives.

The pools that will be equipped in Partille are a 25-meter pool consisting of 8 lanes with a deep end. The pool will be monitored with both above and underwater cameras to get an optimal monitoring of the pool.

The system will also be installed in 2 multi-pools with height-adjustable floors.
