Share

Since its creation in 2012, the main objective of the Princess Charlène of Monaco Foundation has been to save lives by fighting against drowning.

Its “Learn to Swim” and “Water Safety, for the prevention of drowning” programmes have already been implemented in 34 countries through 356 projects. As a result, more than 733,000 people have learned to swim and have been made aware of water safety measures.

As part of the monitoring of technological innovations, two members of the Princess Charlène of Monaco Foundation visited, Thursday 24th September, the Nautipolis Aquatic Complex in Valbonne Sophia Antipolis (France), equipped with a Poseidon drowning detection system.
