Sweden – The Poseidon drowning detection system was commissioned at Rimnersbadet in Uddevalla on September 11

Rimnersbadet in Uddevalla made the decision  to improve safety through the Poseidon drowning detection system.

On September 11, 2024, the staff at the facility was trained and system was put into operation.

Rimnersbadet is equipped with high-tech cameras both above and under water in the 50 meter pool. The system uses artificial intelligence to monitor swimmers in real time. Poseidon automatically alerts staff, allowing them to respond quickly in the event of an emergency.

Rimnersbadet is the 21st Swimmingpool installed with a Poseidon system in Sweden.
